For some reason my N900 is not pushing email today though it has been doing so for the last week. I did not change any settings so not sure why it is suddenly acting this way (though I have been having all sorts of problems with the device today and not sure if this is just a continuation of one problem after the other).

Has anyone had this problem today or in the past? I got this so I don't have to get a blackberry and would be very disappointed if it (or Nokia Messaging) is very unreliable in receiving emails immediately.

You need to make sure the data connection is active. Try when first turning the phone on to do a manual send/receive, this kicks the data into life...then there should be no problem if you have set up receive every 10 minutes etc. for your e-mail.

Okay it is back to not pushing anymore and when I go into Nokia Messanging the device just hangs - it just shows that rotary loading thing forever
