Why not just do what feels right to you without caring about other people's opinions?

The Desire HD looks really, really good, and looks to have a really great all-around experience:

Of course, the Galaxy S is also reveared as being a great smartphone, with many great features as well (including stellar performance, and amazing screen/sound quality).

Sorry to make things harder. If I had experience with both, I could perhaps help a little more.

Well... sometimes, if you're just that on-the-verge, and find yourself wembling, I could see how I might do the same thing. I, for one, clearly think either of the two Androids are far superior phones with far superior support in general. The Nokia isn't quite as sexy as you might think. Particularly if you're left wishing for things you keep seeing on other devices or the stability of a reliable phone. Samsung in particular has been incredibly good about their openness lately too, so slight edge to them, I think.

You are probably the one who know what suits you best. If it aint that important i would wait until the next generation of devices. The difference aren't that big yet. So come back in the first quarter next year... then a change would probably be more worth it... if you don't plan to switch again.

On the Desire you are covered with 1 and 2.
cant say about 3, but I have heard that batterytime is awful on it, even comparing to N900
Games are on all Android phones great IMO. Messenger is not as good as N900 ( but not by far) and browsing is also somewhat off, even though there is flash 10 on newer android firmware. The overall browser experience is different than n900, you either like it or hate it. I like the n900 .

On Galaxy, you have more balanced package, battery is similar to n900. Might even better, I donīt really know.

It all comes down to what you REALLY want, more apps/games in a more mobile phone package or less apps/games in more mobile computer package. All the 3 phones have there weakness and streights.

Just my 2 cents
