Have you updated to the latest version?
Are you running the streaming over 3g/wifi and is it during all times of the day that streaming does not work or just certain times of the day?

Both it over 3G or wifi. and yes it is the laest version. the medai player says something along the lines of "unable to play, file cannot be located" i have also notices that in the medai player it shows the streaming ling ending in mp3 but this did show before in the previous version.

Go and report this over at http://bugs.maemo.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=gPodder
(Preferably without switching on CAPS LOCK and without letting your finger rest on the "1" key for some exclamation mark multiplication...)
That said, the latest version of gPodder is only in Extras-Devel, so please calm down and read the disclaimer again:

I suggest that threads named in CAPS LOCK and using exclamation marks get deleted by the moderators.

sorry THP, its my fav app and when i went to report the bug i could not log in.. sorry bout the CAPs.

No problem. I just saw that somebody already reported the issue: Maemo bug 8861. It's a regression from a fix for bug 7162 that slipped through, but it's fixed in the development version now: commit 25210df. Will be part of the next release.
Again, reporting such issues as bugs helps me manage the free time I allocate to gPodder more efficiently than having to dig around in the forums

do you think it would be possible with video to?
similar to what tvcatchup.com has done with stream live tv on the iphone? they seem to be using the samilar methods as the BBC iPlayer for the iPhone.
anyway no probs.. will do next time.
