Oh, I also see the update (probably it's just the web page that is not updated).
For me it works.
I press "s" and it saves, when I press "l" it loads.
Check the folder /home/user/MyDocs/.bermuda, you should see a file named "bermuda.001", this is the savefile.

not working for me still, and cant see any savefile.

Try to run it from the terminal with
Code:
/opt/maemo/usr/games/bs
Save in the game, quit and see if there's an error in the terminal.

Do you have the MyDocs partition in ext3 (not in fat)?
Try to set permisison:
Code:
sudo gainroot
chown -R user:users /home/user/MyDocs/.bermuda/
chmod u+w -R /home/user/MyDocs/.bermuda/

You need the original data files of the game.
Put them in /home/user/MyDocs/.bermuda
