Perth Trains (v0.9.4) is has been released.

This application provides a simple interface to check the 'live' departure times of train services across the metropolitan area of Perth, Western Australia.

If you feel like it, you can make a donation from my website. Thanks!

Note: Nokia no longer permit updates to appsion the Ovi Store, therefore I suggest using OpenRepos.net.

Download Perth Trains 0.9.4 for MeeGo 1.2 Harmattan at OpenRepos.

Any feedback is most welcome. The project homepage is at:
https://github.com/mattaustin/fremantleline

The application uses Python/Qt (PySide/QML).

Looks awesome, I will check it out as soon as I can get my hands on an n9.

I was going to ask if there was an n900 version, but i found an earlier post by yourself.

With any luck, there will be a lot more Perth based n9 users than n900 geeks

Thanks jd,

I'm going to look in to providing a QML interface for the N900/Maemo 5 as well (and update the previous app), but this may be a while yet.

Am looking forward to the N9 being released in Australia!

As an N900 owner and Perth resident, it would be great if it was ported to the N900.

Awesome! Thanks for posting the source under a free license!

I think I will package this for Debian

I have some questions, will send you a mail about them.

Version 0.2 is now available. Just a few small updates, including a splash loading screen and a prompt to establish an internet connection if there isn't one available. The download link in the first post has been updated.

Version 0.5 is now available. Data is now fetched asynchronously, so the UI does not freeze if the internet connection is slow.

There is also a Sailfish Silica UI available, although the app hasn't been packaged to use it yet.

Version 0.6 is now available in the Ovi Store and on openrepos.net. Small update for harmattan - colour codes on the departure screen to indicate the train line.

Behind the scenes there is a beginning of a Fremantle Hildon component UI for the N900, as well as the Sailfish UI - but there are no packaged releases for these platforms yet.
