The Following User Says Thank You to bastler For This Useful Post: | ||
Say I would create a playlist of songs I would like to play while driving on my desktop/laptop. The program would either take the playlist and songs and copy them to my tablet. Or output them into one directory.. say Temp/Music where I could use ssh to copy them over to my tablet.
Right now I can make playlists myself, but I then have to configure it for the directory structure of my n800, and then copy all the music into place. Something that automates this slightly would be nice.
As for why I just don't do this on my tablet, it's because I don't always have my tablet on to play music while my computers are usually on. It'd be easier to listen to whatever song I'm thinking about on my computer and then add it to a playlist for later syncing.
Edit: It doesn't have to be a media player, a script or add on to any existing program would also work fine. I usually use Songbird in Windows and Banshee in Ubuntu though so a program or script that could be used with those existing programs would be nice.
Is it even possible?
