Hi,

a couple of weeks ago, my N900 began to show errors writing to disc, no possible download or update.

I rebooted the phone but it didn't reboot

Now I try to charge it, but even with all night plugged in it does not boot. Led is blinking in yellow as if it was charging, but it seems that battery does not fill.

When I plug it on USB computer led light is fixed in yellow and there's no usb recognised under lsusb.
'Nokia' appears on N900 screen.

I have tried cold flashing but as usb is not recognised it doesn't work...

What can I do?

Have you tried a different battery?

Ok, I bought a battery and it looks like it charges but by the troubleshooting in the flashing firmware page, it does not.

So I have just bought a Nokia N900 Charger at deal extreme:

hoping that this will solve my problem

I'll keep you up to date, thanks and...

best,
