I think it will happen.
It will be slow as I am.
If no one will do I think I will try if I not die
ffmpeg for extracting frames from video
something like this python script for changing the imageshttps://github.com/CnrLwlss/Slitscan...ster/Slices.py
for a single image slit-scan, modified for video. Repackaging as video with ffmpeg

or some other advice?

I'd suggest doing the image processing in C or C++ rather than Python; that 10x speedup will really make a difference if you're processing hundreds of frames.

I learned only Python too at first; then I learned C++ when I had something that was too slow. You just have to start small; it's not that difficult of a language.
