guys if you have not already done so, download Apps For Meego and go to settings and enable testing mode.
if you need to, create an account, then go and download the new version of theme changer v0.0.2 which has a button for fixing the emoticons! Yeah!
you no longer require a reboot or to use terminal to do so.
