GConf-Editor is a tool used for editing the GConf configuration database.
I know we have had already gconf-editor on Fremantle but now it is on extras-devel.

This is version 2.18.0. It doesn't have any finger usability, but it is optified and there are menu icon for it.

I don't know, I didn't find source package of qole's version. This is version from ubuntu-7.10, without any ubuntu specific
(upstream 2.18.0, packaging from old ubuntu, optified).

If you have working gconf-editor already, I think there are no use to install this.

Hm, I have version 2.18.0-0.maemo1 installed. The upgrade to version .maemo5 wants to install 16 additional packages with 4.4 MB. Isn't that kind of strange for a simple configuration editor/ui?

Where I can find sources (and packaging data) of Qole's version? Gconf-editor is licensed under GPL2, so sources (and files for making binary) must be in somewhere.

Hi AapoRantalainen, I confess that I just copied the binaries for my version from somewhere else. I think it is the version that is in the Diablo (N810) Nokia Maemo-Extras repository, but I just copied it over so I could use it on my N900.
