Speaking of which, who is the developer of this game? Maybe an "invite" to TMO would be in its place.

I really hope that there is an option to control this game with something other than the accelerometer..
Having used an iPhone for 2 years, playing games using the accelerometer just plain sucks. You have to be sitting upright, and have to be directly over the screen. It's only good for a 'cool' factor, moving the entire screen to control a game is not practical.

I'm 99% sure Digital Chocolate is the developer, the iPhone version looks just about the same as this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uBRW3Naxtak

They don't have any Maemo section yet though.

I don't think that it has to be that way. The program also might offer an intermediate screen saying: "touch on screen when the device is in middle postion". When you feel comfortable sitting on couch or even laying on bed you touch the screen (or press a button or do whatever is needed) and the software registers this position as "flat". Every move out of this position means steering into the desired direction. Might be easy to implement.

You won't find many other mainstream developers making 3D games for the N900 (i.e EA, I-play etc). I've tried contacting quite a few who make decent games for Nokia's symbian platform, and they have all ruled out developing for Maemo.

The main reasons has always been,

- Only N900 currently using the Maemo Platform
- Number of units sold is not easily determined
- Routes to market are unclear
- Difficult to justify allocating resources to it

They have all expressed an interest in Nokia's on-going development, suggesting we may look forward to them developing for future Meego handsets.

Take nothing away from the guys who have been developing games within the repos, they are unsung heros
