Please, people tell me what to do.
out of sudden as I was using my 770, the touch function stoped working. I switched off and on the device but it still doesn't work.
Everything looks working properly (buttons work, screen displays OK) except touch. I cannot touch anywhere on the screen.
Below the screen surface I see some liquid like water.
is the screen broken? do I have to change the screen or any other part?
Just to tell you is that those days are very hot (108F / 42C) and humid in my country and I use the air conditioner in that room I used the tablet. is it possible the screen is not broken and the liquid is from humidity?
I am asking here before contacting nokia because internet tablets do are not offered by nokia in my country so they will not know what a tablet is.

thanks for your replies

edit: just posted a photo to show how it looks like

It happens to me one time with my 770. Try to reflash with no success. Leave it overnight with the battery removed, and touchscreen restart working miraculously! Never understood what happened, but helps me to realize how dependent I was from my tablet.

I uploaded a photo to my first post just to show how it looks like.
Agent770 did your tablet's screen looked like that?
(by the way, my greetings to beautiful Vienna. I was there in June)

Looks like you have a moisture problem, see if this link is helpful:

Definitely not. It looks that you have some water below the touch screen. In my device, I got some snow entering below the screen, turning some very local area without tactile feedback.
My screen went "dead" more than one year latter, and after the miraculous "resurrection", those areas were still dead.

BTW, Vienna must be one of the more boring place on heart. I still hope to leave it soon...

Well, humidity is still inside. it's been almost 36 hours now.
I managed to open the tablet but I don't know how to open the screen so I clean the humidity myself. it's a metallic part around the screen and it looks well attached.
any ideas?

Did you dehumidify as per the info I posted. If you have condensation (water) it should evaporate if put in a dry environment.

yes, I followed the instructions. the condensation is less now but it's still inside. I think I will wait for a couple more days.

unfortunately, condensation is still inside after so many days.
are there some instructions to disassemble the screen so I can clean it with a soft cloth inside?
I have disassembled the tablet but not the screen.
