I've bought a new battery for my Nokia N900. I tried to charge it but I keep on getting a recurring Nokia splash screen. I don't know if it is charging or not. May you help me pls?
Here is the video to show you what I mean: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VI99...ature=youtu.be

had the same issue with one battery. It was empty and the phone did not start to charge it. In wallcharger like Metsämies mentioned it charged fine. After this it also charged inside the phone.

Hi,

from the video I think you want to charge it from computer. If so, then try the following:

- Shut down n900.
- Plug the usb cable into the computer.
- Power on n900 - the led will be white;
- AFTER the white led turns dark plug the cable into the n900.

Thank you all for your answers.
Ys it is connected to my PC but the same issue occurs if I use its wall adapter.
I wonder if its selle may consider it not working so to send me another battery.
Bye the way, is there another option to the power craddle?

With that issue is impossible to power it on even if it is attached to the wall adapter. Alternatives?

The point is that my N)900 cannot boot until its battery is charged or in the process to be charged.

THIS is the way to go.
Get it from Ali or ibei or amazonas for less than 5 dellivered to you.
Or play the plug in, wait for white Nokia, plug out, wait for black, plug in, wait for white Nokia, plug out, wait for black, plug in, wait... I hope you got it.
