Oh dear, what a necromaniac!
Could hardly find the post (3ys) you refer to.

On N9 (N950 not powered up) it is just clicking on date and then click the top where written the month/year (e.g. 'December 1990'). Then you can scroll/flip.

- for birthdays range is 1900 - 2040
- for calendar range is 1960 - 2040

i know the range of birthdays and calender...
Sorry that I have not told exactly what I want to do:
Is it possible to change the range in the calender by editing the db-file?

I do not know (not using the unreliable contacts/messages/calendar tracker), but you might try yourself.
Set up a calendar entry and check with sqlite3 the database
sqlite3 .calendar/db
.schema will reveal you the databas etables
date/time entries are stored in integer (so unix time)

But I guss the app itself limits the dates...

Personally the above selection would be useful to me if makes it a bit more manageable.
