All enso said was that it is time to stop jabbering. Either shut up and do it or just shut up. The endless discussions will lead nowhere. Again.

I must say that this is a sentiment I can 100% identify with.

The endless discussions will continue so long as people are interested in continuing them

I agree its a little nauseating at times but ultimately if you dont like it then stop paying attention, or go buy a headphone-jackless iphone and get on with your life.

Perhaps HTC Desire Z? I know nothing about porting anything to anywhere, but as I have never had any Nokia smartphones, Desire Z is the best I have ever seen/used/owned.

Yep, I was just thinking if it would be possible at all. Because "the Z" haven't been mentioned here yet. Didn't expect you to do it, although I might have a spare phone

Definitely The Path Of Least Pain is finding a device with a rock-solid CM port and moving on from there.

Building devices is going to be hellish, there are many tales of dealing with Chinese manufacturers (Pandora, Jolla etc) and it is just kinda reinventing the wheel.

But that's the problem, every device released in the past five years is exactly the same thing. This hypothetical device would be different in a couple of aspects, at least.
