Nope, it's available at all Nokia authorised dealers since Oct 7. Most Msians buy our phones unlocked

That is going to be a very important date for every Nokia N9 owner here.
But I have no idea when the exact launch date is or even a rough one.

Thanks mate, post your updates in the availability thread please.
Malaysia still has about the best prices I've seen "anywhere".
God knows why. Maybe their regional mangers actually have a clue

Still not available through retailers? Wow.
It is through a few major ones here now.
And it is through all the major telcos now (& their resellers).

I had to stop watching the video at that point. I was laughing. I've owned iPhones. They are smooth. They have many, many, apps (the Koi Pond was one of my favorites). But they, yet, do not have the level of integration that the N9 (and N900 before it) has.

To each his own, of course. But that doesn't mean I have to spend the time to listen.
Yeah I read it. It was a pretty clueless article...
It didn't go into anywhere near the depth required.
Sad thing is, a large audience in Oz will read this, & see it as gospel.

Because if it really takes off in China it may have some chance of commercial success.
I had a PM convo with one user from China the other day, & he reckons it's priced fairly well.
About $30AUD less than our best prices (on avg) IIRC...
But it'll still have to come down a lot more, if it's to really gain traction there.

If that's the case, we should see the PR1.1 real soon.

Agreed, but this was NOT what was promised by Nokia in the very beginning.
