So I was flashing my N9, when the USB cable got disconnected.
Voila, a phone that just won't charge.

(Also, due to a pre-existing issue, the power button doesn't work.)

Now, when I plug the phone into a wall charger or a USB cable, the charging light stays on (without blinking at all) for a few minutes, and then goes off.

Any idea what I could do to fix this?

If you
1 disconnect USB CABLE
2 ower off the phone, or wait for battery drained
3 open a terminal and
4 flasher -F main.bin -F emmc.bin -f
5 the flasher will wait for you to connect phone
6 connect the USB cable
7 flasher will detect the phone and wait while phone charges above 11%
8 once at 11% flashing will start

main.bin and emmc.bin should match your productcode and placed in flasher dir, or provide the full path+names of bin files

After step 6 (connecting the phone through USB), it showed
"Suitable USB interface (bootloader/phonet) not found, waiting..." for about five minutes..

It then ran through some ping attempts, after which it showed "Charging battery, 0% battery level (11% required). Ctrl-c to exit"

The phone isn't charging, though.. The charging indicator is blinking on and off, rather than the usual fade in-fade out.

Take out the battery and charge it. Easy as it is. This happens when battery level drops to 3.1V(not sure, it may be lower) and then it doesn't boot nor charge.

That doesn't mean it is not charging. Just keep it like that for a while.

It was charging!
And I reflashed it, and its working perfectly now!
Muchas, muchas gracias!

(The familiar fade-in, fade-out charging indicator is back too.. Perhaps I should not have read too much into the blinking light. )
