same issue here. no gps lock. It was working with the update before the latest one. I'm sure someone's on it. Thanks for the updates, guys.

Great work from all involved with CSSU, all working fine here with 16.8, keep up the great work!

Hi All

Does anyone have experience of the vibration support for the N900?
I installed tactile to enable tactile feedback within CSSU features, although instead of enabling the additional vibration feedback, it actually seems to have disabled the normal vibration feedback, both for calls/SMS and also normal touch screen vibration.

I have therefore uninstalled tactile in the hope that normal vibration support would return, but unfortunately it hasn't. I have rebooted several times and tried disabling and reenabling vibration in profiles and display settings, but still have no vibration.

Any advice someone can provide as to what I may need to do to get normal vibration support working again would be gratefully received as I rely on it during the day when at work and have the phone on silent.

There is one user testing this, so far no crashes. Please someone experiencing regular modest crashes to test it, so we can either confirm that at least one bug in modest is smashed or to continue searching for it.

Thanks.

GPS and friends are closed source and weren't touched in the CSSU.

I installed it too. Because I had occasional crashes, I will need some more time (2-3 days) to confirm if the issue is resolved for me.

That's what I thought... but what could be the problem that so many people don't get a gps lock anymore?
