I understand I need separate logins but when I look at other people's profiles they seem to be linked somehow (e.g. they have "discussion" under "karma" and talk.maemo.org account url under "websites"). Maybe I'm not understanding something, forgive me if I'm being incredibly stupid. Speaking of which, how did you set an avatar for your "talk" account? I've clicked around but just can't figure it out.

on the right by the 2 banner ads you will see control panel by power search click on that , then on the left you will have an option for an avatar. If you could possibly link to someones account that you see as linked it would be clearer what you are trying to accomplish

Ah, many thanks. I'm sure I had looked through that menu before :s As for the karma/links, I found an option to specify a "talk.maemo.org account url" on http://maemo.org/profile/edit/ - will try filling that in and see what happens...
