...And about plans...

1. Build some preliminary kernel version based on meego kernel sources, (w/o Aegis, but with modules required by android).
2. Use flasher to boot kernel. Use n900/ics dev snapshot to get proof-of-concept ICS on N9.
3. Investigate if it possible to make multiboot compatible with N9.
4. If no, investigate what we can use for booting alternate OS (in user-friendly, untethered manner).
5. Create vendor_nitdroid_n9 to allow community to build from source code.

As I stated before, I expect problems/difficulties in:
- GPS
- audio routing while voicecall
- bootloader

So, any ideas are welcomed!

P.S. Is there any natisbad-like (http://natisbad.org/N900/) site for N9?

Nice to hear from you again e-yes. Your five initial steps to take on the Nitdroid project for N9 sounds good. I really hope you can get the multi-boot work on N9. That's a very important part for me.

Keep us informed about your progress!

hi e-yes, why don't you request from xda to add an N9 thread, there are thousands of devs that can help us in having a complete ics port?? Ask them, i think they will accept as long as it is an android project.

This site has some similar information:
http://jon.severinsson.net/NemoN9/

I'm also interested in working on an Android port. I'll look for you in #nitdroid.

If the phone has to be booted to run the Android emulation this may be troublesome. I was hoping for an "emulation app" which can be launched to run an Android app and closed after it is done. Is this possible?
