As we have yet to wait for a tablet with SailfishOS preinstalled which can be brought by the common man I was surfing the web for some updated porting instructions.

According to this site https://wiki.merproject.org/wiki/Adaptations/libhybris the Nexus 5 aka. hammerhead is among the best supported devices (besides the Jolla Jolla by Jolla!).

However if I look at the Nexus 7 tablet (2013-version) I'm only able to find an old tutorial and some outdated images (pre-2.0).

Is this solely do to lack of interested porters or do we wait on Jolla to release an ARM-port of Sailfish OS 2.0 for tablets?

I know the phone UI and the tablet UI are pretty similar however I know there are some differences.

There's ARM ports of Sailfish 2.0 - there's no separate 'tablet' version; it's all configuration, same code line.

Go nuts trying to put it on tablets. I think others have already.
