I am running PR1.2 since some weeks on my N950.
Some days ago i started to not getting waken up by the alarm clock.
I then realised that the alarm sound starts playing but stops after one second. The Stop/Snooze window how ever stays there.

Does somebody else also have this issue?

I havent jet removed/recreated the alarm.
Before I create a bug report, I would like to dig a bit more into it and see if others have the same issue.

Hi,

since i reflashed with 1.2 i am having the same problem, though not all the time.
Sometime the alarm sound does continue, but most of the time it stops after about a second.

This is very annoying cause when i'm in a deep sleep i only wake up after the alarm has been going for a few seconds.
Now by the time i am consious enough to realise the alarm is going off the.alarm has already stopped and i just continue sleeping.
Just like you i suppose.

The stop/snooze message alse remains in my case.

Let me know if you've created a bug report, so i can vote.

edit:
i have an n9 btw

Let me guess, are you using lpsmagic 1.4? Upgrade to lpsmagic 1.41 and it won't happen.

I had lpsmagic installed, but cant remember which version.
I reflashed the rootfs, but the issue still existed, so I did a full fladh. Now the problem is solved.
I havent installed lpsmagic anymore, because I have my own app which modifies the operator logo. (see http://www.ruinelli.ch/harmattan/theword, still in development)

Hi, everyone
I also have the alarm problem and i am in pr1.2.
but i found that when my n9 face downward , the alarm will ring
when my n9 face upward , the alarm will only ring.for a few second.
there maybe something do with the proximity sensor.
i wonder is this a bug or a setting of pr1.2??

seems like it works with ipsmagic 1.4.1. Turning the phone around mutes the alarm. N9
