Tanbien puedes hacer download de bluestacks (google) que eres un emulador de android para pc, instalar whatsapp en tu pc, e despues entra tu numero (del N9) en lo registo e vas a receber el sms con los 3 digitos de confirmacion en tu N9, e puedes usar los para finalizar el registo.

Anyway , if you can't see pictures in gallery you might disabled the smarsearch.To activate it run this command on terminal :
chmod -x /usr/bin/smartsearch
If you still got the issue , you may have some tracker issue.
I'm installing version from 27th august now because I didn't dare installing last one cause of some bugs reported with buttons and what not?
The main thing is that it's not freezing so no rush from my part. Great job guys, keep it up.
edit: Yep, also getting Connecting... Will restart it after install of 27th and see what happens. Btw all I did was remove whatzap and .db file using filebox before reinstall of 27th august .deb.
edit2: still connecting... after reboot. Darn, hope it works tomorrow then. Nite
