4. Apps: PR1.1 did not even have the API for face-camera; Do you expect Skype to guess how it should work ?? No, they should have wait for PR1.2... Too late, N9 was outdated to invest any kind of development. Look at Opera... where is the new version ? etc

To be a fan-boy is nice, I am one for many other things, but you should be realistic, the N9 is not a finished product.

FYI, just reverted to regular polling of email server, current consumption is down to ~25mA on 3.5G. Push is seriously broken.
So you're saying is the back plate of the N9 and the screen are absolutely made from the same material? Since the silver plating at the back scratches easily, that means Gorilla glass scratches just as easily? That's one of the dumbest claims yet. And why would the black coat alter? Do you work at a gas chamber?

Again, your analogy failed because you said MeeGo was bound to fail because there were no existing apps for it. How can you have apps for a platform that has yet to be released? In fact, it's the other way around. MeeGo is on life support because Elop decided to go for Windows Phone (which is not necessarily a bad thing, since WP is looking good atm), and because of that reason, most developers won't even bother creating apps for the MeeGo platform.

A fanboy would say "YOU ARE WRONG. NOKIA AND THE MEEGO OS ARE ABSOLUTELY PERFECT.". A logical person would argue with you with in a civil manner. But only an idiot would call you a fanboy for no real/valid reason. Not disagreeing with you when you said the N9 "seems unfinished". It could use a bit more polish that's for sure.

No problem bro.

Lol, get yourself a Kitkat

I just tried something; one Mfe account set on Push seems ok (~20mA idle). Another one in parallel, either Mfe or gmail, bring this number to ~50mA.
Indeed, it is broken.

Your phone already tells you signal strength and when it goes from 2G to 3G, etc. so it's already connected.

lol, you can't really compare the consumption of a protocol made to be universal (IMAP over TCP/IP) and managed by the CPU over 3G data, to the consumption of a protocol designed for mobile services and managed directly on the cellular chip

But I agree overall push shouldn't use much power. And it doesn't on mine (but I only use one account).
