Yesterday I was uninstalling clipman and while the whole process was going on HAM decided to install belltowers without asking for permission. It just happened by itself. It is not the firs time such thing happened to me. Any hints what to do with this situation?

just remove the unwanted software. I have seen that kind of stuff too with fapman, so i think its related to the first application you removed, not the appmanager.

But how is it possible that one app puls another one and forces HAM to install it when there was only one command from me to uninstall an app. I can imagine a situation that it installs without my knowledge some malware or stuff like this.

I'm sure I've read that this is a known bug, but I can't seem to find it right now.

@fw190,

Could you go back to the initial situation (apt-get remove belltowers; apt-get install clipman), and then try (using apt-get, not HAM or FAM):

# apt-get remove clipman

and post the output here?
