I can discuss things other than meego / maemo here...right guys?

Anyway Firefox OS daily build is available now...for desktop and android.

Get it here:
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.o...zilla-central/

More how-to here:
http://dknite.wordpress.com/2012/07/...or-firefox-os/

Since it's open source, I'm about to fall in love.

Loved this screenshot. Swipe right to unlock and swipe left to take photos. Awesome design!

Its a standalone OS.

But atm it is bring shown off using a sort of virtual machine type runtime so you can run it on your pc and i guess your android device to see how it works ect.

IIRC firefox OS is meant to target the low-cost segment...so while it might seem a fun project to attempt to port it over to the n9 in the future, i think our present OS is much more refined that whatever firefox OS is...

Yeah but it will be maintained and updated!

Something our OS isn't gonna receive apart from community updates (if people are bothered to do it)

So it could end up and interesting port in a long run sense.

Looks promising and it's good to see it running on the n9 already

I was disappointed to see yet another virtual keyboard with the return key in the wrong bloody place :/
