Only major differences seem to be:
  • N9 has 54 more rows on display
  • N9 lacks micro-SD card slot (which could be emulated)
  • N9 has far more RAM
None of them should could cause major compatibility issues.
About resolution, N9 must allocate some rows to the virtual touch keys whereas the Galaxy S has physical (touch) keys...I couldn't measure their size but I guess it's exactly 54 pixels and we're left with 800x480 resolution. Can anyone confirm?

Bear in mind that audio rooting to the microphone is still NOT functional.

Android installed succesfully on my N9! But the sleep still scares me:
"Don't let your device sleep. Otherwise it could die" Hope they fix it soon.

So I'm now open mode in my MeeGo. Could somebody light me up, what different openmode make to my MeeGo. What can i do with it?

Can somebody explain me what in practice mean this sentence:
First of all: go to Settings->Display->Sleep, choose "30 minutes". Critical defect ("too deep sleep to ping watchdogs") is yet to be fixed.
Don't let your device sleep. Otherwise it could die
I have to use the device at least once for 30 minutes?

I wonder if N9 could triple boot into Windows 8? I mean, Nokia has been pushing windows os for so long.
Anyhow, that's off topic. Is there a way to revert all this? Without losing contacts and so on, though.

This is the last thing Nokia will do. Elop's priority is to sell Lumia, not N9.
