No, there's no problem overclocking Maemo. Just follow the instructions for overclocking.

i overclocked my maemo to 930mhz and it went back to 600mhz after installing nitdroid.
i overclocked it again and it went back to 930mhz.
but after using nitdroid and booting back to maemo, it goes back down to 600mhz max.
since there is no cellular signal and i cant find hd games in the market for nitdroid, i just uninstalled it for now.
