Android for Nokia N810?
I saw android on the N900 work amazing, but any progress on the N810, it looks like the N810 is dead, no new apps come out for it and all developers moved on to N900, well any progress on froyo?

Android 1.6 (donut) mostly works on the N8x0s. main issues are

It reboots, or powers off when it goes to sleep (depending whether it's charging or not)
Some of the buttons do not function, especially task switching.
Only boots from and can see the external mmc card.

DJ_Steve was working on it, but has dropped it in favour of N900 development.

This sums up N8x0 state quite nicely:

...mostly works...
...was working on it, but has dropped it in favour of xxx....

The wording on the N8x0 project page on the NitDroid wiki stating "Development has been seized" (not my spelling) gives the distinct impression that dev has been stopped, which is why I posted above.

Good news that you are planning to pick it back up, and I can understand the focus on the N900 given the number of people who are clamouring for it.

Cannot understand it myself, now I have a N900 myself. Played with a few android phones belonging to mates, and I much prefer Maemo.

Can't remember where I read it (engadget?) but I was amused that there is an effort to port Maemo/Meego to Android hardware, especially the Nexus1 - Is no-one happy with their device?
