Hi!

I made this nice N900-Wallpaper from the Apollo 15 moon landing 360°-View. Thought somebody might be interested... ;-)

Original Source: http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ima...n_apollo15.jpg
(c) NASA

I resized it a bit, so these grey areas are not visible anymore.

Installation:
- Copy all content of the two compressed archives (files not folders) to /home/user/MyDocs/.images/
(- Disconnect from USB)
- Choose Apollo 15 Wallpaper

I had to split the attachment due to size... just copy the single image to the others
Attached Files
File Type: gz apollo_wp.tar.gz (388.0 KB, 284 views)
File Type: gz apollo15_360_1.jpg.tar.gz (208.4 KB, 265 views)

Grin - I had begun to work on exactly the same image about 2 weeks ago, but then got distracted by building other software...
Shall I pack it up for you as a .deb?

I have to confess that I did not think it would and only put it on the N900 because of the other enthusiastic comments. But it does certainly look great! Thanks a lot

It would be great if it could be packaged into a .deb or even better be uploaded to the repos. Would make a hit

Thanks!
Corwin

offtopic: when will prismic be released? because putting desktop backgrounds to debs is a bit silly. one sw to rule 'em all is what I'm waiting for.

Yeah I don't like the vision of a myriad wallpapers spamming the repositories, too.

Thanks to everyone who likes my wallpaper :-)
