2nd i download the bt5.img file from megaupload but its compressed file ( bt5.7z )i try to extract it ... need password can you give me it please.:co nfused:

Its mentioned many times throughout the thread.

Its "maemo" without the quotes.

Had tested 7zip with password.
Only have to try search

I did everything according to the instructions and it all goes smooth up to the point at i write startvnc. After that either nothing happens, or device boots. Can someone tell whats wrong?

Hi i have a problem, i download and install a resized bt5.img for vfat of 3,5gb.

This is my problem when i want start vnc. Thanks

I was going to try BackTrack on N900, but... I downloaded the arm version from BackTrack site, unzipped and the file is 5 GB and cannot copy it to N900, due to FAT32 limitations!
I guess the file linked in the first post was a "reduced" (???) version, but know Megaupload is closed. Is there a mirror?
