I've read romewhere on the forums that it might be possible to add new vertical homescreens with some programming skill. (roughly 9 can be added landscape mode by standard,) Or create a desktop where all icons are displayed in a 90 degree angle. And with some tinkering you might get the accelerometer to activate the four new homescreens in portrait mode, whilse the keyboard is not out. This way you get 4 empty homescreens, witch can be set up by the user to match the existing landscape homescreen (or not).
Can somebody with more understanding of this verify wether this is do-able?

I've seen this being discussed before, but never really thought of it. Could you somehow use ukeyboard to create a psuedo-portrait keyboard?
