gLobster,

It's broken here too. Thanks for pointing it out (it's been a while since I was in Windows). Does it work if you remove the openobex packages and go back to the old obexd binary? Also, it seems that, even though PC Suite won't recognize the phone, it will still allow you to use it as a modem (wired). I'll look in to this while I try another approach...

I updated my phone using tutorial from message #75.

ObexFTP between computer (Fedora13) and phone works ok, but the root folder is a wrong one.

I have some success with my BMW car kit eg. three random names are transferred to the kit.

I try to enable debugging and I'll send output asap.

I would like to thank everybody involved. It is great to see progress in this!

you can remove the libopenobex1 with

dpkg -r --force-all libopenobex1

then reinstall with apt-get the 1.4.0 libopenobex1

good luck...

Yeah, found that out too...I got PC Suite back up and running by running the following commands to DOWNGRADE both openobex and obexd.
Code:
apt-get install libopenobex1=1.4-0maemo3+0m5
apt-get install obexd=0.18-0maemo5+0m5
Hope that helps...

I edited both tutorials to have downgrade instructions...

I've installed hcidump, run it and got an output file and I've attached it here.

Not sure if i've done everything right as the output file seems unreadable in notepad. Any help?
