Hello...
Well, my cel stopped.

(Start, but is in the nokia logo and off [not even in the balls]).
I tried to apply some ROM in it,
but does not go into flash mode.
I tried pressing and holding the "U"after
placing the cable, but the symbol does not appear
the usb. Nokia screen appears normal, then
off and she appears again. I asked to a friend
n900 also has a carrying my drums
To know if it was because he was just born, and nothing.
Does anyone know why? Or is there another way
to put in flash mode.

Hug!

My only suggestion is to try to take out battery, SIM card and microSD card (if you have one), wait 30 seconds and then put everything back in, carefully.

Shardul,
I've tried to
Windows 7 and 64bit
Windows Vista 32bit.

The battery is fully charged.
(I'm carrying with an external charger,
for, as it is restarting when put to
charging, the battery does not charge).

Xagoln,
not understand. The procedure I am doing without the SIM card and without
the memory card.

Thanks for the quick responses.

Right, like I said, I'm using an external charger (those charging the battery outside the phone). Because when I put it to charge it is restarting, enters the screen from Nokia, and restarts, going back to her. Give it does not load. Staying in the loop. I'll wait until the maximum load and try. If that fails, you have another alternative?

When powered off and in charging mode, the N900 actually boots linux (only bare essentials).

But the small USB icon seems to appear before that time, so I don't think a software config error can be the problem.

Take a look at these threads from other people who had similar problems and solved them:

You don't even need to switch the N900 on to re-flash, it seems.
