I was not at home today and tnt asked my neighbour for 68,50€, she had only 40€ at home, so my parcel is again at the cargo hub.

I called now tnt and they said: "Payment Of Duties/taxes By Receiver." and if this is by mistake the sender has to change this.

So, should I accept the parcel now and pay the 68,50€ or can I contact Nokia somehow and ask to transfer the taxes?

I refused the package. This caused it to be registered as an exception in the system. The issue was (apparently) resolved without me doing anything more than mentioning the issue to bounce: the status is not "delivery issue resolved" and I guess it will be delivered tomorrow.

Thanks neal, I hope this worked out for you. Since I'm tomorrow at work and not at home I'm not sure if this could work for me the same way. My neighbor is 74 and I'm not sure how tnt will judge it if she said "I refuse it.", because I'm the receiver.

Oh well...

It was delivered today and I didn't have to pay anything.

Omweather(MeeCast) team didn't receive notification from tnt tracking for a shipment from Nokia yet.

Hey guys,

I've just received a new mail, Nokia says you don't have to pay anything in order to receive the package.
That was a mistake made by the person who shipped the devices.
They are trying to fix this issue with TNT directly.
For who already payed, there is no assurance he can get his money back....this is up to TNT (sorry for that).
I'll post news, once I get more.

@Vlad, I'll signaling your situation.

today I got the confirmation from Nokia that this issue has been fixed. So you will receive your package without paying anything.

I received my device today . Thought it was held for quite some time at custom but finally it got cleared today.
