ive tried that, it says something about permisions

You should be doing that as root...download rootsh then type "sudo gainroot" and after that try above commands..

All of these packages (due to dependency issues) have prevented users from installing PR1.2.. Remove them, and reinstall after:

(usually due to a webkit or opengles dependency problem)

gltron
tux racer
teeworld
brainparty
freoffice
openarena
countdowntimer
wikihow

could try that?

I had little over 40 meg free when I upgraded.. a friend had 55.. and couldn't.. I asked him to uninstall gltron and voila.. he could upgrade

Two small scripts I wrote detail disk usage (root and /home) for each package installed by you (rather than the base OS)

http://chris.intrepid.cx/N900/debug.sh
http://chris.intrepid.cx/N900/diskspace.sh

Open those links in your browser
Save them in the Document folder
Open an x term

type:

sh MyDocs/.documents/debug.sh

then wait about 30 mins.. this script does a lot of extra stuff you don't need

When it has finished run

sh MyDocs/.documents/diskspace.sh MyDocs/debug.tgz

You can see which packages (at the top of the list) are eating most root space..

Fantastic. You've just saved me an enormous amount of trial and error - I had tuxracer blocking the upgrade. It would have taken me ages to get to uninstalling that and I'd have stripped a lot of other things off the phone before it.

Thanks.

Thanks! Brainparty was preventing the installation over the air.
I then tried it to do through the Nokia software updater and that also didn't work.

So I removed brainparty and tried the over the air solution again and it worked!

my phone is now running version 10.2010.19-1
