"Still logs in and lurks" may just be a family member using the same computer. I do not know how exactly it works but I am permanently logged in to TMO from four different devices and never bother logging out which may give the impression that I am online even though I took a few very long breaks this summer.

In fact, even when I logged out, opening any post logged me back in without any action on my side. No username/password request or anything. Probably the cost of not using HTTPS for this website.

Cool, I seem to have missed that TMO has a secure connection. Does using HTTPS here provide any interesting benefits?

Also, Chrome is giving me a warning when accessing the site this way:

Your connection to talk.maemo.org is encrypted using a modern cipher suite. Further, this page includes other resources which are not secure. These resources can be viewed by others while in transit, and can be modified by an attacker to change the look of the page.

The connection uses TLS 1.2.

The connection is encrypted and authenticated using AES_128_GCM and uses ECDHE_RSA as the key exchange mechanism.

A protected authentication without clear data flowing through the web.

Yeeeeeey!!!!

EDIT1: Did not help. I was still logged back in after logging out and then opening any random post.
EDIT2: Sorry, I was speaking from my rear end. I cleared the cookies and now when I log out I stay logged out.

(ehm, should we ask the mods to split this into a new thread?)

As time moves on, this prediction (from 14+ months ago) seems to be inching closer and closer toward being a sad reality.

Would it work with Neo900 - bare board version?

If yes, would it need additional parts?

It is referred to the fact it would work with the neo...
However...if there is no movement on this project's completion betwixt now and the shipment of the neo...
That is "if"...
I would speculate that if this back cover is not finished to the point of manufacture and shipping by the neo shipment dates...
then there is a high likelihood ..it will never be ready...
I would wish different...
I wish the back cover to succeed..
but there are underlying stress-point times which won't help the back cover project...
the aging fleet of n900's and their users ...[it is a battle against entropy here..]
and the soon to be released neo...
Estel's gotta catch that wave...
If he misses it ...
it will be diminishing return from there on out...
It isn't what I "think" or "believe"...
it is just how dynamics play out universally...

Is "what" it?
Vague question...
A question with more meat than 3 words would help...
