I am already tired of seeing moving adverts at top and side of site and forum posts, they are very distracting and highly irritating. What's about a mix with more discrete adverts that are not constently flashing and moving?

Yes they are irritating. I just added them to the blocked list. Let me know if you still see really irritating ads.

Thanks.

Yes, almost exclusively moving adverts and all the time in Dark Theme. I am currently based in UK using Firefox and/or IE. I am currently receiving an advertising blitz of Vista WOW, Virgin Broadband and Renault Clio adverts. Not good on the eyes and ensures user focus on site is disturbed.

Oh God bless, switch to classic view in forum and they are all gone but not when we go to http://www.internettablettalk.com/ home landing site which is always the dark theme

Need to start using adblock plus extension again in Firefox, but currently having problems downloading from https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1865/

Hm.. I don't see any of those things. But I have privoxy installed locally and it tends to remove anything that moves.

Yeah, I run Privoxy everywhere too. It was one thing when ads were discreet banners that didn't bother you that much, but nowadays the online ads are unbelievably in-your-face. I can't stand browsing without Privoxy anymore, it's unbearable. I know one should let ads stay on for sites one wants to support, but... ugh ugh ugh.
