Hello, all. I'm a new N9 owner, and I'm loving the device. I'm waiting until the end of my billing cycle to switch services so I can use the N9.

While I'm waiting, I had a question about the messaging app. My friends and I like to group message (via SMS). I've been trying to find a clear answer on whether the N9 has group messaging capabilities (SMS).

For example, I have 7 contacts I will send a text to. This creates a single conversation that all members can see and respond to (almost like a chat room). Does the N9 have this ability?

Well, my service is up and running, but threaded group texts doesn't seem to work. MMS is working correctly, but group texts come in as individual messages. Maybe the N9 doesn't have this ability, or I didn't enable the appropriate setting...

You can have Skype group messaging but no group text.

Thanks for the input. That's a shame it isn't possible, but I'm still enjoying the phone regardless.
