Reading daily in the Maemo Forum I can conclude that people are growing antsy as the progress on Maemo from Nokias site is not communicated well enough. So my question is if marketing-Peter has blog where people can check the current status at any time.

If not I highly recommend to set up a petition that Peter gets his on blog ASAP, so all questions about new firmware releases or Nokia's Maemo future become obsolete.

So the Maemo community can focus again on the community work.

You can follow him on twitter
http://twitter.com/PeterMaemo

It still won't answer your questions though.

If I worked for nokia I wouldn't come here.

I wonder if their staff are trained in the management of aggression and violence? They probably can't let them visit here until they are.

I guess I'm old-fashioned. I always find I get far better service from any company by a bit of patience, calm and politeness. Also by being able to research for myself. Some of the questions you are seeking answers to are out there - either in bugzilla, brainstorm on threads on the board.

Lots of maemo people have blogs. Even Ari Jaaksi. But it won't answer your questions.

heh... man, what an ants' nest I stepped into as a Nokia employee when I joined here! Picked up a few... um... admirers who made visiting here...ah...interesting. Ah, those were the days...

I gave him heck during and after his time at Nokia. In fact, I still haunt him via Twitter. Love? Bah... I think I love bothering the 'rat

What are you missing? What would you improve?

So the Maemo community can focus again on the community work.
I agree that at the end of the day there is a big % of energy that goes to (fruitless?) community discussion. It would be definitely beneficial to everybody to convert a chunk of that energy into fruitful work.
