Just wanted to say a big thank you to all the members of this community who have givien the N800 and N810 a buzz again..

These devices seem to have had a bit of a second wind lately, and it's a great feeling. If you have a N8x0 and you nhave not installed the stuff, below then do yourself a favour and try it.

Thanks to -

LMA - community SSU
Mitrandir - Telescope task switcher
Kroll - diablo 5 theme
Eviljazz - Quasar media player
Silvermountain - for telling the world

and to all the other active members still using the N8x0s. Long may they live....

Other noteworthy developments that have/will stretch into the world of OS2008 are;

- nqa (audiobook player),

- QSportsEvents - Sports update app

- Opera Mobile

- TweetGo.Net - Webapp for twitter that works very well on the NIT

- Tear Improvements

- mStatus (hopefully :-) )

- FlashLauncher - launchpad for downloaded flash games

- Metromap for Diablo - Public transit map with a lot of features

- Heroes of Might and Magic II - classic game, now on Diablo

- TitanTV - webpage but finally I got an app (I run it though personal launcher) that displays a TVGuide. Try it out on your NIT!

I'm sure I'm missing a bunch but those are just some of the amazing things that have come out recently for Diablo (or are being worked on).

Thanks to all developers - it sure has been an exciting month or so for us 'legacy tablet'-owners

Yeah, no doubt. This month has been like a rebirth for my N810. Instead of dust, I'm wiping off my fingerprints all over again.

I hope it continues.

Thanks for that!
Never heard of Zim before and that video was great in showing how it could work.

I visit a lot of companies and I would like to set something up like

Company A
- Contact Info
- Directions
- Photo/Map inserted
- Checklist for preparations
- Keeping track of visits,
.etc....

Right now I have that information in different notes but it LOOKS like Zim would be able to tie all that together in one place.

I will check this out for sure!

yep, that's right!

I wanna say a few words which I've read in Dmitry Grinberg's interview:
it lives as long as we do not give up on it
