do you mean that Chinese quad core are not so powerful as Samsung or Nokias can perform?

does that mean chinese quad core are FAKE? like there are too many batteries we can find in the market claiming to be much higher mhz but they dont give backup according to that.

The cpu in the Xiaomi M2 is a QUAD core Qualcomm snapdragon s4 pro apq8064. Just like the cpu in the OPPO Find 5 X909 mentioned by Necrofenser above (1080p on 5" screen! wow) or any nokia or samsung that contain it (approximately). The score this cpu achieved in some benchmarks is really impressive, like here:


In general, I think that for around 350 usd the Xiaomi M2 quad core is worthy opponent to the galaxy s3 or htc one x and from those three devices it is the most favorable (IMO). However, I don't find the android experience nearly as interesting as the maemo 5 on the n900 (I know it is not suitable for everyone, but to me it is the ideal device with the ideal OS).
Also, don't be affected too much by the number of cores, I don't know if the OS or the apps really utilize the processor potential to the bones. The upcoming cortex-a15 dual cores are far more interesting anyway.
