Personally, i never touch to windows.
Linux make everything faster, in fact, the n900 is 3 years old and faster than 3 years old iphones.

good try though! Please get out of your igloo.If Linux is better or not is more or less up to the user preferences. And after all, you can often install you full favorite Linux dist on a PC. Still not sure how it will work with touch if you do.
