I have Nitdroid installed on my Nokia n900
  • It was installed using Autoinstaller
  • I have also installed Kernel Power for Maemo

The error that has occurred is that whenever I select Nitdroid from bootmenu
It boots into Android (Android logo appears) Then within seconds the power light flashes bright red, then android os shuts down

Battery is full

Any help to fix this, is very much appreciated

Thank you bigears5000
but I charge my Nokia N900 from a desktop charger as the usb has come completely out

So I am unable to drain the battery and charge through nitdroid

As a result i am unable to attempt to solve issue in this way

To be honest, without a working usb port, you are kind of limited. I don't mean to put a downer on things, but if something goes wrong, how are you going to re-flash. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling nitdroid via auto installer? Clutching at straws here, but just a suggestion.

i have the same problem like you guys, red led blinking and n900 turns off. i think it's because your charging chip, or what it is?, is fryied so nitdroid can't check your battery level and it's showing red led like it's empty. that's what happens with my n900. but if you connect your n900 via service pins (there is post somewhere on maemo.talk) to charger, nitdroid will work. i get it worked that way.
