BTW, I guess stock browser has a name too... anybody knows?

Hmm seems like the problem is back and restart is not a fix anymore. I connected her phone to my wifi, and did the:
Code:
ping google.com
said that 4 packets sent, 4 received 0% loss

But nor browser nor twitter or any other app has access to internet, not sure what's the issue!!!

are you sure your settings are ok? Try removing the connections and adding them back after a reboot?

Or to simplify the process just do as root in terminal:

Code:
gconftool --recursive-unset /system/http_proxy
gconftool --recursive-unset /system/proxy
gconftool --recursive-unset /system/osso
then reboot and re-add your connections
