In XBMC project there is the 'Universal Movie Scraper', that can gather information from IMDb, TMDb, Rotten Tomatoes, Trakt.tv, OFDb.de, port.hu. So I guess there is a viable API for open sourced projects.

Yep, there are some unofficial APIs, but no official public one.
Since the XBMC project has a 'Scraper' in it's name, I wouldn't be so sure about the viability for open source projects.
IIRC XBMC uses TMDb as default as well.

I agree with the rating deficit, but it can be helped

Can you please look on Transifex (if you have the access) and add requested languages? I'd be glad to translate this app to Czech.

Also, any plans for SailfishOS port? I have tried it and were quite succesful with the UI, but I'm not very familiar with C++, so I couldn't finish it even id I had the time.
Hi still interested in doing UI / qml port of it? I did everything there is do it in C++ side (yet to have it in harbour some more coding is needed)

Most of the UI is ready as well but I don't have a lot of time currently. Maybe you are faster than me:
https://github.com/lukedirtwalker/bu...sh_integration Feel free to create some pull request.

As soon as its ready I will create a pull request to the original repo and release it.

Well, I've been using a Butaca port (more like a rewrite under different name) since about May, but sadly, I hadn't had the time to release it. The situation has changed today (the end of the exam period) so I'll have a look at it.

As I mentioned, I'm not that good in C++ yet, so I had moved much of the functionality to QML/js - we'll see what works better, both branches can coexist

Did a little coding this weekend:
Butaca for Sailfish is now quite ready. Still has some issues, cinema listing doesn't work.

Have fun
