Just as the title says i just flashed my N900 and i just installed it not thinking that it had been updated, and id like to roll back to 51 is that possible?

Someone more knowledgable may react soon enough, as I am not sure, but without looking online my steps would probably be (assuming you have some form of a boot menu installed):

1. Install older version
2. Reboot to boot into that kernel
3. Uninstall the 52 version while booted to 51

This will downgrade kernel packages to the last version. You always want to install a fitting modules and flasher package to stay away from boot loop!
Code:
sudo gainroot
apt-get install kernel-power=1:2.6.28-10power51r1 kernel-power-modules=1:2.6.28-10power51r1 kernel-power-flasher=1:2.6.28-10power51r1
No need to remove version 52 because of the downgrade, just reboot needed to load the kernel.
