Probably they found a lot of bugs and pulled the app off to fix them , besides they have serious issues with skype now maybe the are too busy with that stuff

why do u need that app anyway? , afaik all protocols listed there are supported by N900 natively or via plugins

Because I don't have skype installed in my N900. Its not availalble for indian firmware. When I try to flash the global firmware, my 64-bit VISTA created driver signing issue. I don't have windows XP 32-bit

Since fring acts as skype, it is the only alternative

Not your only alternative. Run a Live Ubuntu CD (i386). You can install the flasher, download the image (although you already have by the sounds of things) and flash you n900 easily all in the Live Ubuntu environment.

No it doesn't , Skype sued them for misusing the license , you wont get skype via Fring better to flash via Live CD as shazosbourne suggested

I'm willing to bet it will never come out.

But not updated as regularly as Fring or Nimbuzz in some cases.

Sip is rubbish on N900 (see bug in signature). And N900 client cant do voice calls to gtalk in fring which everybody seems to have. So fring might be the only alternative.
