i am going to post this on the bugtracker, but i want to post this here first.
Not sure if anyone has notice this....but here it goes.
when i got my N9, i transferred my contacts, notes and calendar events from my E71 to my N9.
This issue happened twice. When an event reminder pops up, the screen has that "swipe up" page and once you do that, it opens the calendar. Then if you dismiss it or delete it, it doesn't go away and everything slows to a crawl.
on the notification page, the calendar icon for the event keeps flashing and if you press it, it goes to the calendar and it goes back to not being able to dismiss or delete the event.
I even tried going into the calendar app, click the date, and delete the event that way..but no luck.
eventually, i had to delete the whole calendar of events that was from my E71 to my N9
