Fremantle MCE isn't just any binary blob.

It's the binary blob. And now it's free.

That clears a major blocker porting Fremantle to other devices.

Yep, MCE is one of the biggest missing pieces as far as talking to the hardware goes.

Hi Nicolai,

Shouldn't this be tested "as-is" before we start fixing bugs? Is there a test script we can develop to test all it's functionality before we start fixing things? Just voicing my concerns as this is as you know developed by reverse engineering the binary blob and other references.

one very obvious annoying bug that can finally get squashed now: dimming of indicator LED when locking screen in bright daylight. It's just two values that need to get changed in a const struct
